Camp Northland has a glorious past and an amazing opportunity for the future. This initiative provides all of us with a clear direction to drive camp growth, starting today.
NBB belongs to all of us.
All of the thousands of Jewish kids who were fortunate enough to be touched by the magic of summer at Camp Frailoch, Mothers and Babes, B'nai Brith, Northland… whatever its iteration… over these past approximately 110 years. This is OUR camp. Our shared memories are what make us who we are and keep us connected.
As the Jewish community has evolved over the years, so too has Camp Northland. Always a diverse community camp, the NBB population is a reflection of the GTA pluralistic Jewish population.
With a new vision, NBB's Board of Directors and professional staff are super motivated to celebrate our wonderful past and mobilize our strengths to ensure an amazing future. The energy and enthusiasm is contagious and we all are re-committing ourselves to giving every child an amazing Jewish camping experience - not just this summer, but for years to come!
The question becomes: what will that future be - for Camp Northland, for the Jewish community, for all of us. The Our Camp, Our Future Growth Initiative tackles that question head-on, renewing our collective commitment to bringing our vision to life. We hope to re-invigorate everyone, bringing excitement to the whole community about Northland's momentum and growth plans. Let's help each other find exciting new ways to adapt to the changing needs of the Jewish community and keep the spirit alive for generations to come.
This is our camp and it has to be our drive that takes it forward together. All stakeholders are encouraged to participate by volunteering, providing input, inspiring, donating, giving support ... all to move NBB forward and determine how it will evolve and change in the coming years

Case for Support
Jewish camping has a large and undeniable influence on building Jewish identity. Research has proven that children with positive Jewish experiences become adults who value their Jewish heritage, support Jewish causes, and take on leadership roles in their community. Camp Northland, B’nai B’rith (NBB) is the largest Jewish community overnight camp in Ontario with its origins dating back to 1909. Our vision, ‘to give every child an amazing Jewish experience,’ is exemplified as children from across the Greater Toronto Area and beyond, regardless of synagogue affiliation, schools attended, socio-economic backgrounds, are welcomed as one community. NBB removes any form of barriers and a creates a warm and welcoming community and foundation of a strong and lasting Jewish identity.
Your support enables us to strengthen and grow our camp program; to create an atmosphere where campers and staff grow, thrive, and have fun by making lifelong friends, building life-skills, appreciating nature, and respecting one another.
